We do not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, religion, ethnicity, sexual preference or national origin.

We are a semi-private dojo and we reserve the decision to grant full membership to potential students once they finish a trial period. We will invest an incredible amount of time and energy into your beginner lessons.

We will ask you to observe or participate one or two classes then decide if its for you. If you think that you would like to go forward, we will provide you with the appropriate membership forms and waivers, give you information on equipment, and invite you to begin training at the next class. After a few months of training, we will happily discuss the potential of full membership and ranking.

We normally accept ages 16 and over

Quality instead of Quantity is always our goal.

Winter Tuition

Lock in These Winter Rates while they last!

90.00 per month, automatic payments with no long term contracts. you can cancel anytime. We offer yearly discounts as an option.

75.00 per month for military and first responders. We thank you for your service.

We not a commercial dojo which rely on a room full of students for profit and contracts.. We cherish the martial traditions which we feel have unlocked our potentials in this modern stressful world. Committed training practice in a dojo such as ours is a positive life changing journey which requires both our commitment as well as yours.

Full member students eventually purchase bokken with saya, keikogi, obi and hakama This typically involves an additional initial expense of about $200. There is no rush for this as we like to be sure the student is committed before making these investments.

After a period of time of training we will allow you to purchase a wooden Jo staff and Iaito (Metal practice katana). We will provide you with details on what you need and where you can purchase it after you have been accepted as a full member. We have links here on the website.

We do not allow sharp swords (shinken) on the training floor at anytime.

We value personal growth and well being for our students. We follow the core values set by the Yamato Ryu Nippon Budo Kai.

Respect, Friendship, Relaxation, Individuality
